Please do not describe the well and respectfully written canon queer relationships in Dragon Age as “yaoi.”
Yaoi is a specific genre/subgenre that portrays m/m relationships in a very fetishistic and otherwise problematic way and packages them for consumption by heterosexual audiences.
It is insulting.
