Holy balls!

So there I was, nomming on my salad during my lunch break, when I noticed that I had just hit 600 followers. (shout-out to number 600, scoota87!)

Besides still being flabbergasted by the idea that anyone, much less 600 anyones would give a shit about my cosplay, I’m really, really touched. I jumped onto tumblr about a year ago with one costume and absolutely no idea what I was doing, and a year later I have nearly seven costumes (just have to finish Aria!) and … well, I still have no idea what I’m doing, but I have 600 really awesome people who care enough to stick around, silently or not, and a number of whom I’m happy to call my friends.

Not right now because I’m uncreative and busy working on Aria, but maybe for the next big milestone, I’d like to do a follower giveaway of some kind, or just something to acknowledge how touched I am by all of your support. I’ll think on that and let you know when I know what I’m doing, but I figured I’d let you know that this is brewing. Also, as always, my ask box is always open if you want to drop a line, say hello, ask a question—I may not always answer immediately as I have a tendency to read my asks at the office and forget to answer them later, but I love hearing from you guys!

Thanks for a year of Tumblr Shenanigans, and here’s to many more! Hope you’ll stick around for the ride :)
