Oh, Tumblr. I’ve been so sad to announce my cosplay lineup for NYCC. Not because it’s a bad lineup at all—quite the opposite, I’m really excited!—but because of the accompanying announcement.

So this is officially the last convention where I’ll be wearing Isabela :C

I know, it shouldn’t be that big of a deal, but Izzy was my first major costume and I’ve worn her (in one form or another) to every convention (or at least brought her with me for pre-con shenanigans). As a costume and a character, she means so much to me, so having to say goodbye to her is a little heartbreaking. I do so, however, knowing that I have some really great projects on the horizon, and three unannounced costumes (though I’ve hinted at one, just not decided completely) I’m looking at for next year.

As for NYCC, it looks like I’m mostly going to be there starting late morning/early afternoon and not staying past 6-7 PM due to plans I have most of those evenings. I will be accompanied by the best cos-partner a girl could ask for (and that’s something I’m really excited about, by the way), the marvelous Beth! She’ll be wearing the Bethany to my Isabela, and then will spend the rest of the weekend wearing Evangeline (or just Saturday—we’ll see!)
