Qunaribela was a 100% spur-of-the-moment decision that was vastly encouraged by my network of torturers friends on Twitter. Fortunately it was also a very doable costume in about a week, since there were few pieces that I didn’t already have, and those that I needed to make weren’t terribly complicated (save for the top). I was eager to have an Isabela alternate, having worn The Standard to every convention since PAX East 2011. Qunaribela is, in my mind, a potential future and an in-game decision that you couldn’t pay me to make, but a fun and comfortable one to wear.
Qunaribela Tutorials:
As mentioned on the Standard Isabela page, Jennifer helped me make a few of the jewelry pieces used here.
Heartbreaker and Backstabber were a gift from my Bestest Varric Melissa, who made it with her father and boyfriend when I realized that I wouldn’t have the daggers done in time. And this is how they made them!
