Isabela cosplay by Allegra
I saw her cosplay in person during SDCC ‘11. I should have taken a photo with her! She did a great job.
Since that cosplay photoset is going around with a picture of my unfinished Isabela (curses! I swear I have more accurate armor and do better makeup and have more appropriate hair for it and ashfjdhsajkfhsdf!!!), I felt the need to reblog some more recent images of Izzy again. I’ve updated the costume since then (better Dicks and a rigid boning upgrade, wiiiiiiiiiiink), but I feel like this images are a bit more indicative of my costume ;___;
So much love for Brent Allen Thale and Sheila, the photographers for these images (Brent for the first, Sheila for bottom two)! Also so much love for Ian Travis Barnard who took that early Isabela picture that keeps making the rounds—I need to get updated images from him so people can use that image in photosets instead!
But more importantly: I truly am grateful that you guys love my Izzy so much. She is by far my favorite cosplay, which is exactly why I keep going back and tweaking her to make her as good as humanly possible. Thank you all for the love!!! <3
