Pardon how derpy and sweaty from walking home I look, because my Astro Headset from the PAX East AC Cosplay Contest is here!!!!! THANKS, UBISOFT!!!

Oh my god guys this thing is beautiful. Picture 2 is baaaaasically what I looked like when the sound first starting going through the headset (sweet, sweet audio bliss). And check out the little AC3 branded covers on the headphone! They came as a little bonus, and hell fucking yeah I’m going to wear them and pretend that I’m as badass as Connor. I mean, have you seen those trailers?! (if not, what are you doing with your life, watch it right now) I don’t have the arsenal of weapons to prove my badassery, but I have my Astro, so that counts, right?

Last one of these posts for a bit—I’m just running through the ones I know are up right now :)

I’ve had the joy of bumping into Amanda and Tyler at cons for the past year. The first time we met was as Isabela, Ash, and Umbreon at PAX East last year at the Crabcat panel. Then, at NYCC, we bumped into each other and chatted for a bit. It wasn’t until Saturday that we finally exchanged names, after they somehow recognized me as Trish (because people had a lot of trouble doing that!), and I got to see Amanda’s Gears of War armor and Ash’s super impressive Skyrim I-don’t-know-what-it-is-but-holy-shit-it-looked-awesome. We finally got a picture together on Sunday as the Corsair and Lara Croft, as well as a group shot with Coles and Beth in their super comfortable casual Shepard gear. (or maybe Coles was just in a hoodie. WHATEVER, FOREVER MY BROSHEP)

Check out all of their pictures from the weekend! I have friends on all three days, but on Saturday in particular they covered the BioWare costume parade and took pictures of nearly all the neat costumes that were shown off!!!! (no, really, 90% of the people I hung out with this weekend are featured, please go look)

onceathief: Hey, it’s @subitoallegra looking fantastic in costume, as always. (Taken with instagram) Not just me—also Cae as the Vanguard and Aziza as the Brigand! (Thanks for the pic, Stone!!!) Glad I loosened the headscarf for my full day as the Corsair, since it just seems too tight there. Those two, meanwhile, look awesome. We need to do a real, full day with these costumes. Also a photoshoot :D
