so I ordered one from the Mad Masker so I can paint her for Aria later in the summer 8D (SO EXCITE)
It’s so cool to see friends I have from completely different corners of the internet come in contact through things like this. Aubriana has been a buddy of mine for a good while and I was super excited when I saw this photo because I knew she had to be the one behind that headpiece. :’)
Oh man, you know her? Isn’t she incredible? I’m so impressed with this piece. You can’t see in the picture, but the light scaling on the fringe-ness is gorgeous and skfjsdkfdshjf. This wasn’t even molded to my head, and other than a bit of trimming I need to do along the edges, it fits beautifully.
Honestly, guys, I always make a point to give shout-outs to people and companies who I’ve used or gotten help from, and Aubriana is no exception. I believe she’s officially discontinued her Asari headdress, but she’s always making new, beautiful work. If you’re a cosplayer, I would definitely, definitely recommend commissioning something from her in the future! So HANDY LINKS:
